A delicious, low-carb alternative to traditional pizza crust, this Cheesy Pizza Crust Pizza is perfect for those following a keto diet.
Ingredients[edit | edit source]
- 1 1/2 cups of Mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoons of Cream cheese
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 cup of Almond flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon of Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of Pepper
- 1/2 cup of Pizza sauce
- 1 cup of shredded Cheese (your choice)
- Toppings of your choice (e.g., Pepperoni, Bell peppers, Mushrooms, Olives)
Instructions[edit | edit source]
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees Celsius).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella and cream cheese. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Stir in the egg, almond flour, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Spread the dough out on a pizza stone or baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove the crust from the oven and spread the pizza sauce over it. Sprinkle with cheese and add your desired toppings.
- Return the pizza to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow the pizza to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
