Singapore, located in East Asia and Southeast Asia, is a global city-state and island country. Known for its rapid economic growth and high standard of living, Singapore also has a relatively low adult obesity rate. In 2016, the adult obesity rate in Singapore was 6.1%, ranking it 170th globally.

Despite its low ranking, obesity is a growing concern in Singapore. The government has implemented various initiatives to combat obesity, such as the Health Promotion Board's National Healthy Lifestyle Campaign. This campaign encourages Singaporeans to adopt healthier eating habits and engage in regular physical activity.

Several healthcare facilities in Singapore offer weight management programs. These include:
