Australia, officially known as the Commonwealth of Australia, is a country located in the region of Australia and Oceania. It is the world's sixth largest country by total area and is made up of the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands.

In 2016, Australia had an adult obesity rate of 29%, ranking it 27th globally. This high rate of obesity has been linked to a number of health issues, including heart disease, diabetes, and certain types of cancer.
