Recipe instructions
- Put first eleven ingredients in a sauce pan and bring to just below a full boil.
- Put the roast in the crock pot.
- Pour the hot liquid over the roast.
- Cook on low 10-12 hours.
- Remove the roast and shred the meat.
- Return to crock pot.
- Add sliced green peppers.
- Cook for another 2 hours.
- Serve on Italian rolls.
