Easy turkey and rice stoup (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Heat oil in the bottom of a soup pan.
- Add garlic and onion and saute until tender.
- Add broth, rice, celery, and carrot.
- Cover and simmer 15 minutes.
- Add sage, savory, nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
- Simmer, uncovered 10 minutes.
- Add turkey.
- Turn off heat, cover and allow to sit until turkey is warmed through.
