Beef and wild rice soup (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Add all ingredients, except the Worcestershire sauce (add it later), to a saucepan.
- Add 2 & 1/2 soup cans of water.
- Bring to a full roiling boil.
- Stir it well, and reduce heat to simmer.
- Cover.
- Simmer for 2 & 1/2 hours. Remove bay leaves after 2 hours. It takes that long for the wild rice.
- Stir occasionally.
- Serve with warm bread, and butter.
- Also excellent with simply crushed, saltine crackers.
- Enjoy.
