Hazelnut coated salmon (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- preheat oven to 375 8F.
- Place hazelnuts on a baking sheet and bakefor 8 minutes. Finely chop hazelnuts.
- Increase oven to 450 8F.
- Combine apple butter, mustard, thyme, and pepper. Spread on salmon. Top with hazelnuts.
- Bakeuntil salmon just flakes with a fork, about 12 minutes, depending on thickness.
- Goes great with herbed rice or savory couscous.
