Citrus lobster tails (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine butter, orange juice, lemon juice, and lime juice. Reserve half of the butter mixture.
- Spray grill rack with nonstick nonflammable cooking spray. Preheat grill to med-high (350-400 degrees),.
- Cut lobster tails in half lengthwise -- cutting through the top hard shell and part way through the lobster meat. Do not cut the bottom shell. Gently loosen meat from the shell. Sprinkle meat with salt and pepper. Brush half of butter mixture over lobster meat.
- Grill lobster, meat side down, covered with grill lid for 5 minutes. Turn and cook, covered with grill lid for 3 to 4 minutes or until lobster is opaque and firm.
- Serve with reserved butter sauce,.
- Personally -- I would double the butter sauce mixture because I like my lobster DRIPPING in butter.
