  • neuromuscular dentistry - A dental treatment philosophy intended to correct misalignment of the jaw at the temporomandibular joint.

  • xerostomia - Dry mouth or a decrease in the production of saliva.

  • There are no commonly used dentistry terms that start with the letter Y, but it can include specific brands, names, or materials that are unique to certain practices or regions.

  • zirconia crown - A dental crown made from zirconium dioxide, a very strong material known for its durability and compatibility with the human body.
