Lemon pepper chicken with shallots and portabellas (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Put chicken in crockpot.
  2. Pour marinade over chicken.
  3. Mince shallots and slice mushrooms. You can buy bags of pre-sliced portabellas in the produce section of the grocery store.
  4. Sprinkle chicken with shallots, mushrooms and rosemary.
  5. Sprinkle salt over all.
  6. Cook on high 4-6 hours or low 8 hours.
  7. When serving, make sure you sprinkle the chicken with the mushroom/shallot mixture. It's very pretty that way.
