MeJDTic is a chemical compound that acts as a selective antagonist of the kappa-opioid receptor (KOR). It is primarily used in scientific research to study the role of the kappa-opioid receptor in various physiological and pathological processes.

MeJDTic is known for its high affinity and selectivity for the kappa-opioid receptor, which is one of the four main types of opioid receptors, the others being mu, delta, and nociceptin receptors. The kappa-opioid receptor is involved in modulating pain perception, mood, and stress responses.

As a kappa-opioid receptor antagonist, MeJDTic binds to the receptor and inhibits its activation by endogenous ligands such as dynorphin.
