Grilled trout (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Clean trout, wash and pat dry.
  2. Sprinkle trout inside with lemon juice, salt and pepper.
  3. Wrap bacon around trout (1 piece per trout or may use more), securing bacon with toothpicks.
  4. Grill over hot coals for 10 minutes per side or when bacon is done trout is usually done.
