Cold chicken (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Fill a large kettle 2/3 full of water.
- Add chicken, salt, ginger, chinese flower pepper; bring to boil.
- Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
- Remove chicken and soak in 4 quarts of cold water for 1 hour.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces and arrange on a platter.
- Mix soy sauce, sesame oil and msg.
- Pour mixture over chicken pieces; serve cold.
