Lemon peppered beef steak salad (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. whisk dressing.
  2. Dressing.
  3. 1/4 c olive oil.
  4. 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice.
  5. 2 tsp lemon pepper.
  6. 2 tsp dijon mustard.
  7. 2 cloves garlic.minced.
  8. in a medium bowl until blended, remove and reserve 1/4 of the dressing.
  9. cut beef steak lengthwise in half , then crosswise into 1/2 inch thick strips.
  10. add beef to the remaining dressing, toss to coat.
  11. heat large nonstick skillet over medium heat until hot.
  12. add 1/2 cup of beef, stir fry for 2-3 mins or until no longer pink.
  13. remove from skillet and repeat with remaining beef.
  14. combine salad greens and reserved dressing.
  15. in large bowl toss, add cheese and divide amoung 4 plates, arrange beef strips on greens.
  16. garnish with lemon, if desired.
