Homemade chicken soup (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. 1.\tPut the chicken, carrots, celery, and onion in a large pot and cover with cold water.
  2. 2.\tHeat and simmer, uncovered until the chicken meat falls off the bone. Skim off foam every so often.
  3. 3.\tTake everything out of the pot and strain the broth.
  4. 4.\tPick the meat off the bones and chop the carrots, celery and onion.
  5. 5.\tSeason the broth with salt, pepper, and chicken bouillon to taste.
  6. 6.\tReturn all ingredients to the pot, stir together, and serve.
