Herbs and bacon gravy (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- In a skillet, cook bacon until crispy. Remove bacon from skillet and set aside to cool.
- Add the 2 tablespoons oil to the bacon grease and heat over medium flame.
- Add the flour and cook, whisking, until golden.
- Whisk in the half n half. Stir in the parsley, sage, and thyme and bring to a boil.
- Chop bacon into tiny bits and add to skillet.
- Simmer until thickened, about 2 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
