Recipe instructions
- Remove the seeds from the chiles and boil for 20 minutes.
- Place the chiles in a blender with some of the liquid. Add remaining ingredients and blend well.
- Line crockpot with 1/2 banana leaf, place meat, cover with sauce, and cover everything with the rest of banana leaf.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours or on high for 5-6 hours.
- Serve with corn tortillas, garnish with your favorite toppings.
