Bruschetta florentine (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Mix spinach, mozzarella, and Parmesan, tomatoes, onion, and Italian seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Cut French bread into about 1/2 inch slices.
  4. Arrange slices on a baking sheet and spray both sides with the cooking spray.
  5. Bakefor 3 minutes.
  6. Turn slices over and bakefor 3-5 additional minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
  7. Top each slice with 1 tablespoon of spinach mixture and return appetizers to oven for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  8. These are better served hot
