Tvp taco skillet (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Pour boiling water into dry TVP granules and stir. Let sit until water is absorbed, about ten minutes.
  2. Saute onion and garlic in olive oil until onions turn soft, about 6-8 minutes.
  3. Add bell pepper and sautv 2 more minute.
  4. Add TVP, and stir.
  5. Add tamari and spices, and continue simmering until all ingredients are well-blended.
  6. Some people like extra tamari or extra spices Ķadjust according to your taste. Serve in hard taco shells or soft tortillas, with shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, salsa, refried beans, etc
