Braised sirloin tips (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Be sure all visible fat is trimmed off the meat.
  2. Brown on all sides in a large heavy skillet.
  3. Add consomme, wine (or cranberry cocktail), soy sauce, garlic and onion powder.
  4. Heat to boiling.
  5. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer 1 hour, or until meat is tender.
  6. Blend cornstarch and water and stir gradually into the stew.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, until gravy thickens and boils.
  8. Cook 1 minute more.
  9. Serve over rice.
