Eggs and tomato (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Use one little earthenware pan for each person.
- Put into pan 2 tbs olive oil and 2 tbs tomato puree and let cook until tomato appears almost dry.
- Add eggs, scramble white with tomato and cook until white is done.
- Add salt and pepper and serve hot with your preferred bread aside.
- Choice of good tomato puree is very important. Canned tomatoes or fresh, ripe tomatoes may also be used. Pepper should be freshly ground.
