Recipe instructions
- Remove seeds from jalapev os and red pepper.
- Dice all vegetables and add to large pot (at medium low heat) along with all liquids, spices, and legumes (rinse legumes before adding).
- Cook bacon in separate pan until semi-cooked, then add Italian sausage and beef--cook until browned, and mash into small pieces, discarding liquid as it accumulates.
- Add meat to pot with sauce and vegetables, cover and simmer for at least 45 minutes.
- After cooking, add another shot or two of bourbon.
