Toraflon is the hydrochloride salt form of methaqualone.

What are the effects?[edit | edit source]

It acts as a sedative, hypnotic agent.

Uses[edit | edit source]

Methaqualone was used for insomnia.

Risk of abuse[edit | edit source]

Due to its high risk for abuse, methaqualone was taken off the U.S. Market in 1983.
