EstroGel

EstroGel is a transdermal gel containing estradiol, a form of the female hormone estrogen. It is primarily used in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for menopause symptoms such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and bone loss. EstroGel is applied directly to the skin, which allows estradiol to be absorbed through the skin into the bloodstream.

Indications

Mechanism of Action

EstroGel works by replacing the estrogen that is normally produced by the ovaries. Estrogen is a vital hormone that regulates various bodily functions, including reproductive and sexual health. As women approach menopause, the natural production of estrogen decreases, leading to symptoms associated with estrogen deficiency. Contraindications

Administration
