How does this medicine work? [ edit | edit source ] Alfatradiol is a weak estrogen, and acts as an inhibitor of 5α-reductase, which is responsible for the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone , and plays a role in regulating hair growth.
Who Should Not Use this medicine? [ edit | edit source ] Pregnant women, lactating women, and anyone under the age of 18 should not use this medicine.
