Levmetamfetamine

Levmetamfetamine is a nasal decongestant available in over-the-counter (OTC) medicines that relieve a nasal congestion commonly associated with a cold, hay fever, or other upper respiratory allergies. It can be found in many medicines that you take by mouth or use in the nose.

Chemistry

Levmetamfetamine belongs to a class of drugs known as vasoconstrictors. It works by narrowing the blood vessels in the nasal passages. This reduces nasal blood flow and helps to alleviate congestion. The chemical structure of levmetamfetamine is similar to that of amphetamine, but it does not have the same psychological effects.

Uses
