Hazelnut and cilantro pasta sauce (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Finely chop the hazelnuts.
  2. Put the nuts, garlic cloves, cilanto, salt and 5 tablespoons of the olive oil in a blender.
  3. Blend to create the sauce.
  4. Heat the remaining 1 tablepoon of oil in a small saucepan and add to the sauce.
  5. Fry very gently until heated through.
  6. Serve over 12 oz of your favorite cooked pasta.
  7. Sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
