Sarasota's easy peachy bruschetta (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about zero per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Peaches -- Take the frozen peaches, thaw in a colander until close to room temperature Dip in honey that you have slightly warmed in the microwave and dip in the chopped pecans on both sides. Set off to the side on a plate lined with parchment paper so they don't stick.
- Baguettes -- Toast your baguette slices, whether it is in the broiler, oven or grill. Whatever you feel comfortable with. I prefer the broiler. Just a few seconds on each side is all you need.
- Jam and Cheese -- Spread the warm baguette with a very thin layer of the peach jam and then the cheese and top with 2 of the peach slices coated with the pecans. Sprinkle with chopped mint and serve. ENJOY!.
