Apricot-bacon appetizer (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Butterfly dried apricots.
  2. Slice candied ginger into slivers. Insert slivers in apricot pockets.
  3. Cut each slice of bacon into four to five pieces.
  4. Wrap each piece around an apricot, securing with a toothpick.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 ?. Place wrapped apricots on cookie sheet and bakefor 10-12 minutes, turning once so that bacon is evenly cooked.
