Bacon jalapeno poppers (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Cut jalapenos in half and scrape out the seeds.
  2. Cut the Ivernia/Romano cheese, into think slices.
  3. Cut habaneros into thin slices.
  4. Cut bacon in half.
  5. Fill jalapeno halves with cream cheese.
  6. Add slices of Ivernia/Romano, and the slices of habaneros.
  7. Wrap the stuffed jalapeno halves in bacon, and secure with toothpicks.
  8. Bakethe poppers at 450-500 degrees for 15 minutes and then flip them over and bakefor another 15 minutes.
  9. Let them cool for at least 5 mintues and serve
