Nancy's beef stroganoff (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Mix together beef, Kitchen Bouquet, dry mustard, and marjoram. Set aside for a few minutes while you slice the mushrooms.
- Slice the mushrooms.
- Heat oil in electric frying pan or large skillet, add meat.
- Brown meat and add mushrooms.
- Turn heat down and simmer, covered, for about 30 minutes, until meat is tender.
- Add Sour Cream and ketchup.
- cook only long enough to heat sour cream and ketchup. You don't want it to boil.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over egg noodles (we like wide ones)
