Basic roast chicken (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about zero per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Place chicken on rack in roasting pan.
  2. Saltl and pepper the inside and the outside of the chicken.
  3. Add water to the pan.
  4. Roast at 375, uncovered, for 1 to 1-1/2 hours,until chicken tests done.
  5. Baste inside and out every 15 minutes.
