Never fail hard-boiled eggs (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Set eggs out on the countertop for about 15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, boil water in a large saucepan.
- Once water is boiling, gently drop each egg in the water.
- Bring water back to a slow boil.
- Boil for 12-15 minutes, less for a creamier but softer yolk and more for a firmer yolk.
- Remove from heat, put pot under a cold tap, once eggs are cool enough to handle quickly crack the eggshells all around on a countertop or the base of in the pot and then fill the pot with cold water until all cracked eggs are submerged.
- Keep in a cold water bath for 10-15 minutes. Change water or add ice as needed.
- Slide the shells off and rinse them and then go prepare your eggs for a snack or an appetizer or however you'd like!.
