Recipe instructions
- Mix cookie mix with cocoa, spices and baking soda until well mixed (should have the appearance of chocolate cookie mix).
- Add butter and egg, mix well.
- Using about 1 tablespoon dough, form into 1 inch disks and coat with the coarse sugar.
- Place on ungreased baking sheets, about 2 inches apart.
- Bakeat 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes.
- Let cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
- Remove to wire rack to cool completely.
