Layered salad reuben-style (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Make the croutons tossing the bread cubes in the butter and salt & pepper. Toss to coat well then arrange in a single layer on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bakeat 400 8 for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
  2. In a large salad bowl layer half of the salad greens, pastrami, tomato, sauerkraut, onions and dressing. Repeat these layers. Sprinkle with croutons and Swiss cheese.
