Red rice w asparagus and goat cheese (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. In a large saucepot, sautv the onions in the olive oil until aromatic and glossy.
  2. Add the rice and toast for 2 minutes on medium heat. Add salt and water.
  3. Bring the rice and water up to a boil. Reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cover and cook 15-20 minutes or until the rice is tender and the water has been absorbed.
  5. Fluff with a fork, add goat cheese and blanched asparagus and gently stir inches Allow the goat cheese to stay in clumps.
