Easiest ever homemade chicken stock (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about zero per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Eat rotisserie chicken, but save bones, skin and any leftovers.
- Spray crock pot with cooking spray. Place rotisserie chicken leftovers in crockpot and pour water over top. You may add more or less water if you need to. Water should just cover bird.
- Set crockpot to low and cook for 8-10 (or more if you like) hours.
- Remove bones from stock. Place broth in a large tupperwear or plastic bowl. Cool slightly, then place in refrigerator to chill. Fat will come to top. Skim congealed fat off top. Stock may gelatinize in refrigerator, but this is fine. It will turn into a rich liquid once you heat it
