Crock-pot chicken - with variations (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about zero per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Place 1/2 cup water in bottom of crockpot and then place the chicken in the crockpot.
- Mix everything up, pour over the chicken and cook high 3-4 hours or 6-10 hours on low.
- Variations: Next pick one of these to top the chicken.
- 1 cup salsa and 1 cup sour cream.
- 4oz can chili verdi (green chilis).
- 1 chopped onion, three chopped tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons curry powder.
- 1/2 jar sugar free apricot jam (6oz) and red peper flakes to taste (I use 1/2 tsp).
- 10oz can cream of celery soup, 1 tsp Italian seasoning and 1/2 bag baby carrots.
- 1 jar alfredo sauce, 4 chopped green onions and 1/2 cup parm cheese at end when served.
- 1 jar spaghetti sauce, 1 cup shredded cheese 1/2 cup parm cheese at end when served.
- 15oz cranberry sauce (1 can) and one chopped onion.
- 15oz refried beans (1 can) and 1/2 jar salsa.
