Sesame wonton crisps (recipe)


  1. Preheat oven to 350 8F.
  2. Stir together oil and cornstarch in a small bowl until combined.
  3. Stack wonton wrappers and halve diagonally.
  4. Arrange in single layer on a large baking sheet and lightly brush tops with oil mixture.
  5. You might not use all of oil mixture at this time.
  6. You just need a light brushing to get the seeds and salt to adhere.
  7. Sprinkle evenly with sesame seeds and kosher salt (to taste) and bakein middle of oven until golden brown, 5 to 6 minutes.
  8. Transfer crisps to a rack to cool.
  9. Crisps can be made 1 day ahead and kept in an airtight container at room temperature.
