Recipe instructions

  1. imported olives are nice, but any will do Bring olives to a boil in a saucepan of water.
  2. Drain and rinse under cold water; repeat process.
  3. Drain again, and set aside.
  4. Place remaining ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Add olives with 1/4 cup water; simmer over low heat until water is absorbed.
  6. Let cool overnight.
  7. Serve at room temperature.
