Grilled chicken with citrus sauce (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken:
  2. Combine olive oil, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 2 tablespoons oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
  3. Add the chicken and marinate for 20 minutes.
  4. To Make the Citrus Sauce:
  5. Stir together the 1 cup yogurt, 2 teaspoons fresh orange juice, 1 teaspoons orange zest, 1/2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin in a medium bowl.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
  7. Cook the chicken:
  8. Heat grill to medium high.
  9. Run skewers through chicken pieces and grill for about 4 minutes.
  10. Turn over, and grill until cooked through about 4 more minutes.
  11. Serve with Citrus Sauce.
