Turkey to go sandwich (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Remove string from turkey breast (thawed, if you bought a frozen one).
- Place in crockpot.
- Add broth, seasonings and butter.
- Place a sheet of foil over breast meat to cover.
- Cover with crockpot lid.
- Cook on low 6-8 hours.
- Remove breast meat from crockpot, reserve liquid.
- Shred meat with forks.
- Place back in crockpot - add enough of the reserved liquid to moisten.
- Serve on buns.
- You may garnish with BBQ sauce - but I personally like it just as it is.
