Pan con lechon roasted pork sandwich (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 1-2 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Butter both sides of each loaf.
  2. Pork needs to be warm.
  3. Heat some up in frying pan with a dash of vegetable oil.
  4. Chop or shred or pull the pork apart.
  5. Layer the shredded pork on bread and cover with a single layer of sliced onions.
  6. Sprinkle with mojo sauce.
  7. Slice in half diagonally and serve with nice ice cold beer, depending on the weather.
  8. May also be done on a sandwich press, griddle or panini press.
