Scrambled egg sandwich (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Bakethe garlic bread according to the package directions.
  2. In a large skillet, saute the onion, green pepper, and green onion in butter until crisp tender.
  3. Add in the jalapeno pepper and stir to combine.
  4. In a bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Add in the milk, salt, and pepper; stir to combine.
  6. Pour the eggs into the skillet.
  7. Scramble eggs over medium heat until desired doneness is reached; remove pan from heat.
  8. Place cheese slices on the bottom half of the bread; spoon eggs over cheese.
  9. Replace bread top.
  10. Slice and serve immediately.
