Foggy bottom shrimp (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 3-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a heavy medium saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Mix in the water, lemon juice, pepper, rosemary, paprika and Worcestershire sauce.
  3. Simmer the sauce until it is reduced to O cup, about 3 minutes.
  4. Season to taste with salt.
  5. Add the shrimp to the sauce.
  6. Cover the pan and cook until the shrimp turn pink and are just cooked through, about 4 minutes.
  7. Transfer the shrimp and sauce to shallow bowls and serve.
