Caramelized onion flan - ww (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.
Recipe instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375F.
- Heat the oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and garlic. Reduce the heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until the onions are very tender and any liquid is evaporated, about 15 minutes. Stir in the thyme. Spoon the mixture into a shallow 1-quart round baking dish or a 9-inch glass pie plate.
- Combine the milk, cheese, eggs, mustard, and salt in a bowl; beat with a whisk until blended. Pour over the onion mixture. Bakejust until the top is golden and the center is set, 30-35 minutes. Cut into 12 wedges and serve warm
