Salmon steaks with mustard sauce (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of 0-1 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Heat the butter and oil in a frying pan.
  2. Add the salmon steaks and cook over a moderate heat for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through. Remove from the pan and keep warm.
  3. Add the vinegar and mustard to the pan. Cook for 1 minute, stirring well to deglaze the pan.
  4. Stir in the creme fraiche add seasoning, to taste, and heat through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the salmon steaks and serve immediately.
