Ground beef taco filling (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Coat a large skillet with spray oil.
  2. Add ground beef to skillet along with garlic.
  3. Cook over medium heat until browned - about 10 minutes.
  4. Add dried onion, chili powder, oregano, cumin, salt, cinnamon and red pepper and stir well.
  5. Add tomato paste and beef broth.
  6. Bring to a boil and reduce heat, simmering until the liquid is reduced - about 15-20 minutes.
  7. Serve with your favorite taco toppings.
