Asparagus baked with parmesan cheese (recipe) is a keto friendly food item with net carbohydrates of about 4-5 per serving.

Recipe instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450 8F.
  2. Trim asparagus (peel if thick).
  3. Spray baking pan with non-stick spray and arrange asparagus in dish.
  4. Sprinkle with lemon juice, cheese and breadcrumbs in that order and dot with margarine.
  5. Bake, uncovered, until just tender (approx. 15 minute depending on thickness of the spears).
