Recipe instructions
- Preheat Oven to 400 8F
- Score 1/4 inch deep diamonds in lamb.
- Mash & chop garlic into fine peices and mix together with olive oil, savory, rosemary, salt & pepper.
- Insert and rub mixture all over lamb.
- Reduce oven temperature to 325 8 and bakeabout
- 30-35 minutes per pound for a 6-8 lb. roast.
- Or use a digital meat thermometer. (Take roast out of oven when thermometer reaches 130 degrees F and let rest for 20 minutes: Roast will continue to cook while resting. Keep thermometer in roast while it is resting and when it reaches desired doneness, you may carve the roast..
